Uniquely, our certification programs you will undertake your training while simultaneously teaching at a real school – and getting paid of course! You’ll have a legal work permit and visa ready before embarking to Poland to start the course, and our team will walk you through the rest of the visa and residence process. Poland is a country that truly has something for everyone. Coming to Poland, you’ll find yourself in a gorgeous country filled with medieval castles, town squares, breathtaking mountains, large lakes, picturesque cobblestone streets, diverse culture, and a nightlife scene that puts much of Western Europe to shame. Oh yeah, and did we mention…it’s affordable!

Not only is the country incredibly beautiful and full of culture, but it also ranks as one of the most livable countries in Europe. The infrastructure is modern and developed, the streets are safe and crime-free, and the population of major cities is largely proficient in English. In other words, it’s a place you’ll soon call home!

You will join us for the training course in the medieval city of Krakow, Poland’s historical capital and beating heart of culture. Krakow is a city where many travelers will come to for a few weeks and end up staying a lifetime – don’t say we didn’t warn you!

    FAQs

    Q What's the difference between CELT-P, CELT-S, and CELTA?

CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults) is Cambridge's most widely marketed certificate, geared primarily towards entry-level teachers looking to teach English to adult learners. The CELT-P (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Primary Learners) and CELT-S (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Secondary Learners) are also Cambridge teaching certifications, however, they are geared towards teachers looking to teach English at the primary school or secondary school level, respectively.

All three certificates offer 120 hours of coursework, 6 hours of observed teaching practice, and are widely accepted as equivalent caliber. Instructors must hold Cambridge DELTA certification and pass Cambridge's rigorous teacher training certification program.

Q What dates do your programs run?

Our training programs start throughout the summer and early fall. For the exact start dates available for this year, please see our website. Availability is subject to change rapidly as each course is capped to 10 participants.

Your teaching placement in Poland will run for the full academic year, from late August or September until mid-June.

Q How much will I get paid at my placement?

Our partner schools pay teachers at rates similar to the going market rate for ESL teachers in Poland. Exact pay rates vary from school to school, but you can expect to earn somewhere in the range of €8 and €12 per hour. With a typical teaching workload of 20-25 hours per week, a teacher should expect to earn something in the range of €750 to €1000 per month. Considering the low costs of living in Poland, this allows for a fairly comfortable lifestyle, covering everyday life as well as some “extras” such as regional travel around Central Europe.
