Our 170-hour TEFL course, Teaching English as a Foreign Language with Online Specialization, has been designed for those who would like to gain a qualification to enter the TEFL/TESOL employment market and wish to maximize their options. Through this course we will give you the knowledge and skills needed to teach English in both classroom and online settings. The course is taken in two parts: First, our 120-hour certification is completed. This is followed by a further 50-hours of study looking at the particular skills needed to teach English online. One added benefit of the course is that on completion you will gain access to a unique graduate network, connecting you to ITTT alumni currently employed by many of the major employers in online teaching.
The 120-hour TEFL course must be taken and completed first, followed by the 50-hour TEO course. Course participants are offered the option of either receiving two individual certificates as they complete each of the course components, or a single 170-hour certificate on completion of both, which forms the 170-hour TEFL course.

QWhat is the course content?
This course consists of two parts. First, the 120-hour TEFL course must be taken and completed, followed by the 50-hour TEO course. The 120-hour course comprises 20 units on English grammar, as well as teaching methodology, classroom management, lesson planning, evaluation and testing, and many more topics.
QHow will I receive my online TEFL certification and how long will it take?
Course participants are offered the option of either receiving two individual certificates as they complete each of the course components, or a single 170-hour certificate on completion of both.
All online certificates are sent via registered post upon successful completion of all aspects of the course. Each certificate comes with a cover letter and a unique ID number that employers can use to check its authenticity. Your certificate will be posted within five working days and you should allow two to three weeks for delivery. If you are in a hurry we can provide a scanned PDF copy via email, as well as an express delivery option via DHL. This service takes three to four days and has a flat rate of 50 USD regardless of destination.
