    When I signed up for this course, for July 2020, I didn't know what to expect. These four weeks were nothing like I've ever experienced before. TEFL Worldwide Prague has challenged me on every level. Undoubtedly, I underestimated the amount of work that goes into this course. BUT, I was never left alone to my own devices. I've had help and support every step of the way. From the unique trainers - who cared about us and put the effort in, to shape us into well-trained teachers - to my fellow trainees, who became my friends.     Q What do I need to do to pass?

    You will be marked on the following:
    Written assignments
    Class attendance and participation
    Lesson planning
    Teaching practice
    Observations
    Written tests

    Q Do you offer a full certificate?

    Yes. The industry standard is a minimum of 120 hours of theoretical input and 6 hours of teaching practice. We offer 130+7 hours. So yes, we offer a full certificate. Most employers, and definitely all well-paying ones, require a standard TEFL certificate stating you have successfully finished a minimum of a 120-hour course and taught at least 6 hours on your own.

    Q How much in advance should I apply for the course?

    It differs. In general, if you apply three months in advance and pay the deposit two months in advance, you should be OK. However, last-minute bookings are usually possible as well, as there might be a spot available when someone cancels. So the best way is to ask specifically about a course you want, and we will let you know how many available spots there are.

    Q Will I get a guaranteed job?

    The guarantee applies to Pass 1 graduates, however, people who obtain a Pass 2 grade are very likely to be offered a job with us. Those who don’t get offered a job at our school usually find a job within a week or two.
