We started out teaching English as a Foreign Language over 15 years ago and TEFL is our passion – it’s what makes us happy! We truly believe that English language education can transform lives for the better. We’ve seen students flourish, be inspired and have positive life experiences – all through learning English.

We set up TEFL UK as a resource for anybody who loves helping others learn and is interested in teaching English. Our TEFL programs are designed from the whiteboard up! We want you to be ready for your first class, whether that be teaching email etiquette to a group of Japanese business people or teaching phonics to a class of Colombian pre-schoolers! Wherever you go with TEFL, we’re excited to learn about you and support you in your journey.

Our TEFL programs are purpose built for you

Our course collaborators have the DELTA/Trinity Diploma/PGCE with most also having the Masters in TESOL (Teach English as a Second Language). Most of our trainers have now returned to the UK to settle down and become sensible! However, we all still teach English as well as train new teachers. We come from a broad range of backgrounds, are very down to earth and won’t patronise you. We will have to cover some theory work but promise to make it interesting and motivating.

Unlike many other training companies, TEFL UK is owned and operated by TEFL teachers. Teaching is at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to providing the highest quality of training so that our graduates leave us with a wealth of lesson ideas, strategies and grammatical understanding. We pride ourselves on inspiring our graduates to teach English lessons that are engaging, challenging and fun.
